Getting around Dublin if you are not attending

Dublin City will be open for business on Sunday 26 August. This is a major event and there will be significant diversions and restrictions throughout Dublin City. Details of specific road closures and other restrictions will be available shortly.

Driving in Dublin City

If you are planning on using your car to access Dublin City on Sunday 26 August then you should be aware that there will be diversions/road closures and other restrictions in place on the day. You will need to leave plenty of time for any journeys to and across Dublin City from 6am to 11pm on the Sunday 26 August, and pay attention to restrictions in place on the day.

Details of the roads and streets that will be affected will appear in due course on dublincity.ie, garda.ie and theaa.ie.

The event will have an impact on local residents and businesses. We are aiming to ensure that any disruption to businesses and individuals is minimised as much as possible.

Necessary alternative arrangements are being developed and will be communicated to those impacted well in advance.
