Colm Stapleton is the Director of Operations for the National Cyber Security Centre. The Operations Directorate's responsibility is to:
1. Detect, prevent and respond to cyber security incidents of national significance
2. Maintain situational awareness of cyber threats to the nation
3. Build relationships to counter the threat nationally and contribute to the collective security of partner nations
