Orla Doyle is an Associate Professor in the School of Economics and a Research Fellow at the UCD Geary Institute for Public Policy. The core focus of her research is the economics of human behaviour.
She has developed, led, and consolidated a large research programme dedicated to evaluating the effectiveness of early childhood intervention programmes using experimental designs.
She has generated over €2m in research funding to-date and has published over 50 academic articles across multiple disciplines. Dr.Doyle is currently the Director of the UCD Childhood and Human Development Research Centre and president of the Irish Economics Association.
