Alan Gibbons has been assigned responsibility at Counsellor/Principal Officer level as Director of Africa Unit, Development Cooperation and Africa Division, Department of Foreign Affairs. Africa Unit is responsible for Ireland’s relations with the countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
