Maedhbh Cronin has responsibility at Principal level for the Retail and Locally Traded Enterprise Unit. The Unit engages with the retail sector through the Retail Forum, as well as with the broader locally traded sectors, to identify the developmental needs of the sectors, focusing on climate, digitalisation and skills challenges and opportunities. The Unit provides secretariat to the Enterprise Forum on behalf of the Department which captures the views, concerns, and suggestions of the enterprise sector in relation to emerging national and international challenges. The Unit also co-ordinates data and information on business supports with a view to identifying the take up of supports and ensuring the visibility of supports on our website.
