Deirdre Mahony

Deirdre Mahony is an Assistant Director General at the Central Statistics Office with responsibility for the Climate, Environment, Enterprise & Sustainability. Prior to joining the Central Statistics Office, Deirdre has worked in a number of Government Departments on diverse policy areas including culture, tourism, environment, local government, housing and health. She has also worked with the EU institutions and within the UN system on environmental policy. Deirdre has an MSc in Economic Policy from TCD and is a member of the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service.
