Forestry Decisions made since 13th September 2023 are now live on the Forestry Licence Viewer: Forestry Licence Viewer (agriculture.gov.ie)
Please note: Forestry licence decisions made on or after Monday 18th December will now only be published on the Forestry Licence Viewer.
An appeal against a decision issued by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine is now subject to a statutory 14 working day deadline i.e. The Notice of Appeal must be received by the Forestry Appeals Committee within a period of 14 working days beginning on the date of the decision or the publication of the decision, whichever is later. Where the decision is not published on the day the decision is made, the number of working days shall be extended by the number of working days (or part thereof) that elapsed between the decision day and the publication of the decision, but shall not exceed the period of 28 days specified in section 14A(4)(a) of the Agriculture Appeals Act 2001.
