Wexford County Council and Kilkenny County Council
As part of the €230 million N25 New Ross Bypass Scheme, a significant new bridge will cross the River Barrow south of New Ross Town. The bridge structure will be a 3 Tower Extrados construction, 900 metres in length and on completion it will be the longest bridge in Ireland.
The new bridge will span the River Barrow, the second longest river in Ireland, from Dunganstown / Stokestown in Co. Wexford to the Pink Rock / Ballyverneen in Co. Kilkenny.
