Glenfarne Wood is a 530-acre Coillte forest on the shore of Lough MacNean in County Leitrim. Coillte in partnership with Leitrim County Council are looking to develop an ambitious strategy to further develop the recreational offering of Glenfarne Wood to provide a floating boardwalk, a panoramic platform, 3km of new greenway, enhanced car parking facilities, a trail head building and event space, a playground and sensory garden, a native tree arboretum trail, forest bathing locations and an open water swimming changing place.
