Requests for Roads and Services Certificate

Application Requesting certificate as to whether the roads and services abutting mentioned property have been taken in charge by Cork City Council.

Note: The processing time for this application is a minimum of four to six weeks.

Also note the following:

  • After this application has been processed by Cork City Council's Roads section, an invite to pay the relevant fee will be sent by email.
  • Please monitor your spam/junk folder in case this email is redirected there for any reason.
  • The payment must be processed by the applicant within three weeks of the invite being sent.
  • Failure to make payment within three weeks will lead to the invite to pay being revoked and a rejection of the application - therefore, if required, a new application will need to be submitted for the property involved.

Please be advised that such a request requires a fee of €110.00 and an up-to-date ordnance survey/land registry or equivalent style map clearly marking the boundaries/exact location of the property and identifying road names.

A fee of €160.00 is applicable if a map is not available.

On Submission of your application and confirmation of the documents supplied you will be invited to pay the relevant application fee.

Please be advised all payments made are to cover administration and application costs. These payments are non-refundable.

Relevant documentation along with property Eircode is required to proceed with the request. Please ensure that the address of the property is located within the city boundary.
