Summary
Cork County Council is commencing the preparation of a new County Development Plan for the period 2022-2028 in accordance with the steps set out in the Planning and Development Acts. The purpose of the Development Plan is to guide the future development of the county.
The first step is the preparation of a Public Consultation Document and supporting Background Documents which address some of the key areas that need to be considered. The Public Consultation Document and the Background Documents will be on public display from Thursday 12 March 2020 until Thursday 07 May 2020.
Submissions and observations in relation to the Cork County Development Plan Review and the preparation of the new Cork County Development Plan 2022-2028 are invited during the initial public consultation period, from Thursday 12th March until Thursday 7th May 2020 (both dates inclusive).
