TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

From 19.00hrs Friday 21st August, 2020 to 20:00hrs Sunday 23rd August, 2020

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road resurfacing works as part of the Upgrade to the Dunkettle Interchange
Alternative Routes
Drive east along the R623 until the traffic lights at Little Island Industrial Estate, turn left and continue to the roundabout. Take the third exit on to the N25 and continue along the N25 westward. Take the left hand slip lane and turn left on to the R623.
Drive west along the R623, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit which approaches the N25 slip road. Follow the right hand lane to connect you back on to the N25 eastwards and continue along the N25. Take the left hand slip lane to Little Island and at the top of the slip turn right and take the second exit at the roundabout on to the R623. Continue to the cross roads at Little Island Industrial Estate turn right.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-119-2020, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 29th July, 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
