The purpose is to assist the public in finding out whether a website offering such products for sale at a distance is legally entitled to do so. Anyone who wishes to sell non-prescription veterinary medicines over the internet in Ireland must register with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and have their name listed on the approved Internet Supply List.
