Plant Health & Biosecurity Strategy 2020-2025

This Plant Health and Biosecurity Strategy sets out the importance of plant health and biosecurity for Ireland as well as ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are aware of the risks to plant health in Ireland, and their role and responsibilities to reduce that risk. It focuses on working closely with key partners including other government departments and agencies, industry, local authorities, nongovernmental organisations (NGOs), the scientific community, educators and all citizens.

On December 9th 2022, the Department launched a Mid-Term Report on the Plant Health and Biosecurity Strategy outlining the achievements to date and the next steps in implementation of the strategy.
