Dr Lisa Kelly (Research Assistant)

Lisa joined the ESRI as a Research Assistant on the Growing Up in Ireland team in September 2019. She holds a BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University, and in 2020 she completed a PhD in sport and health science at Athlone Institute of Technology. Lisa’s PhD examined the role of specialist fundamental movement skill instruction in supporting children’s skill development, in addition to the perceptions, attitudes and perceived confidence of mainstream teachers to teach PE in Irish primary schools.
