National Early Learning and Childcare Agency

The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has commenced a programme to plan for a new National Early Learning and Childcare Agency in line with the recommendations arising from the independent Review of Early Learning and Care (ELC) and School Age Childcare (SAC) Operating System in Ireland.

The Department will engage with a wide range of stakeholders and experts within the early learning and childcare sector throughout this process. This site will be a source of updates, and give access to key documentation and relevant information, throughout the life-cycle of this important programme of reform.
