The new Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) Statement of Strategy 2023-2025 takes account of various commitments in the Programme for Government for which our department is responsible as well as the priorities agreed with our Minister, Roderic O’ Gorman.
The Strategy was developed on foot of input received from staff, other government departments and external stakeholders as part of a wide consultation process. A thematic analysis of submissions to the department on what the Statement of Strategy should contain can be found below, as well as inputs from the Secretaries General/Heads of other government departments/agencies.
Lastly, the Strategy was developed with consideration for the department’s obligations under the Public Sector Duty. Access the DCEDIY Public Sector Duty Assessment and Action Plan.
