The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth is developing a new policy framework for children and young people (0-24). This policy framework will cover the period 2023-2028, and focus on how Government works to realise the rights of children and young people in Ireland.
This blueprint sets out the approach the Department will take with the full policy framework, due for publication early next year. It is informed by many recent consultations Government has undertaken with children and young people, in particular the What WE Think reports published earlier this year, as well as an open, public consultation on the policy framework.
