Introduction
The Live Out Loud campaign will use the positive stories you submit to show how LGBTI+ youth are visible, valued and included in every sector of society. The stories will be shared on this website, across social media and eventually at a national celebration event in 2021.
We want LGBTI+ young people, those who work with them and their allies, to submit stories so we can amplify and celebrate the positive, creative and innovative ways those young people are being valued, made visible and included.
You can submit different kinds of media: video, image and text.
Click here to send us your submission.
If you are under 18 we can only accept your submission with your parent or guardian’s consent, in the consent part of the Google Form.

Guidance on submissions
We are looking for positive stories that celebrate LGBTI+ young people across all sectors of society.
We want submissions that celebrate LGBTI+ young people being visible, valued and included in their communities, organisations.
We want to hear:
- from LGBTI+ young people about how their schools or colleges, arts or cultural groups, sports teams or centres, youth clubs or youth groups make them feel safe, supported and included
- how minority groups within the LGBTI+ community are supported to feel visible, valued, safe and included
- how LGBTI+ youth, sports, arts or educational bodies are showing solidarity and support to LGBTI+ groups locally and internationally
We want to feature all sectors of society who are living and fulfilling the core objectives of the LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy in order to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTI+ young people.
- Education: Creating a more supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTI+ young people in formal education settings
