The Payment Scheme Office is charged with the administration of the Payment Scheme on behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
The Payment Scheme Office is led by a Chief Deciding Officer, Ms Caitríona O’ Connor, and comprises a team situated in the department, and third party support, provided under contract by a company called RelateCare, with both operating under the direction and supervision of the Chief Deciding Officer.
The department is the Data Controller of records under the Payment Scheme and is committed to protecting the rights and privacy of individuals in accordance with both European Union and Irish data protection legislation.
