The department/Tusla joint working group, appointed in November 2020 to recommend to the Minister how best to respond to Action 65 of the Ryan Report Implementation Plan (2009), submits its report to Minister O’Gorman for his consideration.

Memorandum for Information to Government is issued on 'Proposed approach on the implementation of The Ryan Report Implementation Plan Action 65'.
Minister Roderic O’Gorman launches the Care Experiences project (then named 'A research and data project examining the lives of children in care and those who were in care as children').

Formation of initial Programme team consisting of programme lead and research and information specialist.

Programme team begins drafting framework of Programme governance and advisory structures.

Programme manager gives presentation on the Care Experiences Programme to Tusla Research Advisory Group.
