Principal Officer, Memorialisation and Historic Burials Unit

Responsibility at Principal Officer level for issues relating to historic burials, including the development of policy, legislation and related measures required to enable intervention at the site of the former Mother and Baby Home at Tuam, as well as oversight of the independent Office of the Director of Authorised Intervention (Tuam). She also has lead responsibility at Principal Officer level for national and local memorialisation, including the development of the National Centre for Research and Remembrance.
