Principal Officer, Play, Participation and Recreation Unit

Responsibility at Principal Officer level for ensuring that children and young people have a say when Government makes policy, legislation, services and research.

The Unit supports the development and maintenance of permanent child and youth participation structures, including Hub na nÓg and the National Participation Office.

Through these structures Government Departments and public bodies are supported to include children and young people in their decision-making processes.
