Principal Officer, Inland Fisheries and Geological Survey Ireland

The Principal Officer, Inland Fisheries and Geological Survey Ireland, oversees the development and implementation of policy and the legislative frameworks to protect, regulate and manage the inland fisheries sector and leads on EU and international engagements in this area.

They also have responsibility for corporate governance over Inland Fisheries Ireland, joint corporate governance as co-sponsor of the Loughs Agency (a North-South Implementation Body) and internal governance of the department's Geological Survey Ireland.
