Responsibilities
Billy is responsible for the modernisation and simplification of defence legislation, both primary and secondary, and for participating in the formulation of policy on other proposals for regulatory change.
Billy is also responsible for coordinating the Department of Defence’s response to legislative proposals sponsored by other government departments that may impact on the policy and work of the department.
