Capability (People) Development and Support Branch has overall responsibility for Policy Development/Oversight in relation to:
- Recruitment to the Permanent Defence Force and associated statistical analysis and reporting
- Support Services, including medical services, the co-ordination of Defence Forces overseas training and travel, and relevant subheads
- The Veterans Associations and related issues
