Defence Forces Employment Support Scheme Evaluation Report

A pilot Defence Forces Employment Support Scheme (DF ESS) involving 25 participants took place from 20th June to 26th August 2016. It aimed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to assist them to participate more fully in society, and enhance their capacity to pursue employment, work experience or further educational opportunities.

This report sets out the findings of the Evaluation Group. In summary, the pilot can be considered a very good example of strategic collaboration between State agencies with the purpose of driving benefits to unemployed young people.
