New Pension Scheme for those joining the public service on or after 1 January 2013

All those joining pensionable public service employment on or after 1 January 2013 are, in general, members of the new Single Pension Scheme.

This new scheme applies to all military personnel who are commissioned or enlisted in the PDF as first-time new entrants to the public service from 1 January 2013 onwards.
