Revision of Salaries for Clerical Officer and Caretakers employed in National Schools under the 1978/79 Scheme and for Clerical Offices employed in Post Primary Schools under the 1978 Scheme with effect from 1 January 2020

The Minister for Education and Skills wishes to inform management authorities and Clerical Officers and Caretakers employed in National Schools under the 1978/79 Scheme and Clerical Officers employed in Post Primary Schools under the 1978 Scheme of the application of revised rates of salary up to €32,000 with effect from 1 January 2020.

The revised salary rates have been introduced as a result of the Public Service Stability Agreement 2013 – 2020 (Haddington Road Agreement/ Lansdowne Road Agreement) and the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017.
