Purpose
Guidance facilitates people throughout their lives to manage their own educational, training, occupational, personal, social, and life choices so that they reach their full potential and contribute to the development of a better society. Minister Foley established the National Policy Group for Lifelong Guidance and as part of the work of that group, members of the public are invited to give their views through the completion of a survey and/or the forwarding of a submission. A consultation paper to inform submissions is available for review at the following link: Consultation Document
Consultation
There are a number of ways to engage with the consultation process:
- Online consultation: online questionnaires and written submissions – closing date 22 February 2023. Complete the online questionnaire here.
- Written submissions may be sent by email to guidance@education.gov.ie by 22 February 2023.
- Stakeholder focus groups are underway.
