Groups and committees exempted under the Transparency Code


In line with the principles of openness and transparency, the following groups operate under the guidelines set out in the Transparency Code. This means that the groups' membership, work programme, and the minutes and agendas of all meetings are published here on this website.

Advisory Group on Planning for State Examinations

Advisory Group on Planning for State Examinations in continuance of its initial advisory role in the planning for the 2020 state examinations.


Advisory Group for Contingency Planning for State Examinations 2020

The Advisory Group for Contingency Planning for State Examinations 2020established to identify and advise the Minister and State Examinations Commission on altered arrangements for the running of the 2020 state examinations, the certification of students’ learning in 2020 and any consequential actions arising.


DEIS advisory group

The main role of the DEIS advisory group is to progress and provide advice on the implementation of the actions in DEIS Plan 2017.

The Gaeltacht education policy advisory committee was established in March 2017 to support the phased implementation of the Policy on Gaeltacht Education 2017-2022.


Higher Education Payroll Shared Services Project Board

The role of the Higher Education Payroll Shared Services Project Board is to provide unified direction and support to the payroll shared services project in the Higher Education sector.


Primary Education Forum

The Forum supports the planning and sequencing of change in the primary school sector and exchanges information on the intent and impacts of the actions in the Action Plan for Education in order to look for synergies and opportunities for schools to streamline implementation and address workload issues.


School Inclusion Model Group

A Steering Group to advise, monitor and oversee the development, coordination and implementation of the trialling of a new School Inclusion Model as approved by Government on 12 February 2019.
