Director, Planning and Building Unit

This is a Director level post reporting to the Head of the Planning and Building Unit (Hubert Loftus, Assistant Secretary General) and leads on the following areas:

1. Ensuring that a strategic and coordinated approach is taken in relation to planning, appraisal and procurement of school accommodation requirements (including delivery of the site acquisition programme).

2. Programme management of the pipeline of projects for delivery under the school building programme to ensure National Development Plan priorities are achieved.

3. Capacity building within the Planning and Building Unit.
