Consultation on Article 19 (Fees for the use of means of payment) and Article 22 (Additional payments) of Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights

The consultation sought views on a number of issues raised by Article 19 (Fees for the use of means of payment) and Article 22 (Additional payments) of Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights. Both provisions are maximum harmonisation measures whose protections cannot be augmented in national legislation, and accordingly the issues on which views were sought related mainly to the scope and enforcement of the provisions.
