Low Pay Commission Annual Report 2023

The Low Pay Commission Annual Report 2023 recommends an increase in the National Minimum Wage of €1.40 cent to €12.70 per hour.
This recommendation has been considered and accepted by Government in the context of Budget 2024.
It was also decided by Government that the increase of €1.40 in the National Minimum Wage rate should take effect from 1 January 2024.
This increase can be considered the second year of the proposed four-year path towards reaching the living wage of 60% of the median wage.
