This report focuses on the Research and Development (R&D) activities undertaken in the higher education sector. Data captured in the survey relates to the 2007-2008 academic year. The survey is carried out every two years and analyses R&D expenditure and R&D personnel data in universities and Institutes of Technology throughout the country.
