Dr. Rosalyn Tamming is the Head of Policy, Research and Public Affairs at the National Disability Authority (NDA). The NDA is the independent statutory body with a duty to provide information and evidence-informed advice to Government and officials in the public sector on disability matters, and to promote Universal Design.
Her background is in nursing and midwifery and she has a Masters in Community Health and a Ph.D. in Health Services Research from Trinity College Dublin. She has previously worked in Trinity College Dublin, The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention in the US, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK and Concern Worldwide.
She joined the NDA as a Senior Research Officer in 2016 and was appointed to her current role in 2020.
