Upon appointment as Minister for Finance in January 2025, Paschal Donohoe TD was briefed by officials on the key issues facing the Department.
The purpose of this brief is to give the Minister a high level introduction to the Department and a selection of the issues that can be expected to require Ministerial attention. This is a copy of the brief, having regard to the relevant provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2014.
