Appointment of Mr. Aidan Williams to the NAMA Board

The Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Mr. Paschal Donohoe T.D., has today (Wednesday) announced the appointment of a new member, Mr. Aidan Williams, to the Board of NAMA.
Mr. Williams has worked for over forty years’ in International Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Fund Management and Stockbroking. He is a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Unicredit Bank Ireland plc. and has recently been appointed a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Macquarie Capital Ireland DAC.
Commenting on the appointment, Minister Donohoe said:
“Aidan Williams is an exceptionally well qualified candidate for the role given his long career in financial services both in Ireland and internationally. Mr. Williams’ wealth of board room experience will provide NAMA with requisite skills to successfully navigate the remainder of its deleveraging programme and deliver the agency’s expected surplus of €3.5 billion.”
