Minister Michael D’Arcy TD will visit the Netherlands and Germany from 14 March to 19 March as part of the global programme of St. Patrick’s Day ministerial visits.
St. Patrick’s Day offers a unique opportunity to promote Ireland around the world, to renew our connections with the global Irish family, and to celebrate our cultural heritage.
While in the Netherlands and Germany, the Minister will promote Ireland as a tourism destination, encourage new partnerships between Irish, Dutch and German companies, strengthen bilateral ties at political level and foster networking opportunities.
The visit is structured to optimise opportunities to raise Ireland’s profile and provide support to Ireland’s trade and economic objectives.
Speaking in advance of his visit, the Minister said:
‘The Netherlands and Germany are among Ireland’s top export destinations and I look forward to building on the strong political, economic and cultural links between our countries.”
