Minister Donohoe appoints new member to the Board of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA)

The Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Paschal Donohoe T.D., today (Wednesday) announced the appointment of Professor Brian O’Kelly to the Board of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) for a five-year term with immediate effect. Professor O’Kelly is Adjunct Professor of Finance at Dublin City University and Academic Director of the M.Sc. in Investment, Treasury and Banking.
This appointment follows a public competition held by the Public Appointments Service (PAS).
Commenting on the appointment, Minister Donohoe said:
“Professor Brian O’Kelly will bring a wealth of experience in the financial sector to his role as part of the NTMA’s Board and I wish him well on his appointment.”
NTMA Chairperson, Maeve Carton, added:
“I welcome the announcement by the Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform today of the appointment of Professor Brian O’Kelly to the NTMA Board. Professor O’Kelly is well placed to make a valuable contribution to the Agency over the term of his appointment”.
