  • Total net voted expenditure to end-March 2019, at €11,986 million, was up €809 million or 7.2% in year-on-year terms but is 2.6% or €321 million below profile.

  • Non-voted expenditure of €3,144 million was up year-on-year by 6.4% or €188 million. This increase was driven by a greater EU contribution due to both Ireland’s increased share of EU obligations and the timing of funds called up by the Commission.
