National Financial Literacy Strategy Newsletter Issue 01

Welcome to the first newsletter to the stakeholders of the National Financial Literacy Strategy. We have made lots of progress already during 2025. Since the launch of the Strategy, many initiatives have improved financial literacy across the country. Some of these are highlighted below. Please let us know if you have any developments to highlight in the next newsletter, and contact the Financial Literacy Team at Financialliteracy@finance.gov.ie if you would like more information on any of the events that have been highlighted.

To keep our Strategy moving forward, the Financial Literacy Team will be in touch in September to ask what initiatives your organisation will be taking to progress financial literacy in 2026 and how your initiatives over the course of 2025 progressed.

The Strategy sets out clear aims and objectives for positive and productive change to the level of financial literacy in Ireland. Working together, we can make the move from developing a Strategy to delivering on the meaningful change that Strategy intends for financial knowledge and understanding across the country.
