Stability Programme Update 2019 - April 2019

The Stability Programme Update 2019 (SPU) is Ireland’s national medium-term fiscal plan and includes an update of the economic and fiscal outlook. It sets outs the Government’s updated macroeconomic and fiscal forecasts for the period 2019-2023.

The draft SPU was published on 16th April. Following consultation with the Oireachtas, in which the Minister presented the draft SPU to the Committee on Budgetary Oversight, the final SPU was submitted to the European Council and Commission on 29th April.
