Assistant Secretary General with responsibility for the Financial Services Division

The Assistant Secretary General with responsibility for the Financial Services Division, at the Department of Finance, leads the team responsible for the development of domestic and EU/International policy and legislation in relation to the financial services sector, with the exception of the banking sector and manages the transposition of a number of EU financial services directives.

The primary functions of this division relate to insurance and pensions, funds, financial markets, climate and sustainable finance policy.
