Ciarán Madden

Ciarán Madden has been assigned as Political and Reconciliation Director (Northern Ireland), has been assigned responsibility at Counsellor level for the management of the effective implementation of the Good Friday Agreement and subsequent agreements. This includes lead responsibility for the following policy areas in relation to Northern Ireland: Politics, Reconciliation; Human Rights and Equality; Dealing with the Legacy of the Past and Language and Culture. Responsibility has also been assigned for management of the Department’s Reconciliation Fund (which has two Directors at First Secretary level).
