Assigned responsibility for:

• Preparation of European and General Affairs Councils
• Implementation of Government Strategies for Enhancement of Relations with France and Germany
• Departmental lead for horizontal issues such as Migration, EU Financial Affairs/Taxation and EU coordination in relation to international travel during the pandemic
• Future of Europe/Implementation of EU Strategic Agenda
• Bilateral Relations with France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
