Assigned responsibility for the development and management of Ireland’s bilateral relations with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and the Central Asian states of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, while also overseeing Ireland’s participation in the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and engagement with the EU’s Eastern Partnership framework.
