David Clancy is Chief Technology Officer and Molecular Diagnostics Business Unit Manager in the area of infectious disease invitro diagnostics at Serosep Ltd.
He is passionate about improving clinical diagnostics through innovation, collaboration and commercialisation of real-world solutions and has a proven track record of successfully driving commercial growth through delivery of technology and business innovation.
David previously worked at the HSE for 12 years as a Specialist Medical Scientist in molecular & clinical microbiology having previously worked in public health microbiology and Immunogenetics.
David is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Scientists. He completed his undergraduate degree at UCD and has postgrad qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons and Queens University of Belfast.
