What Regional Skills can do for you
Regional Skills will work with your business, 1-on-1 and in groups, to:
- provide a single resource for you to get the information you need on skills development for your business
- identify your business’ skills needs and critical vacancies with a skills need assessment
- provide advice on where to go for training and upskilling services and funding
- guide you to access apprenticeship and traineeship programmes, and institutional work placement resources
- introduce you to further and higher education contacts, for your input into course creation and research projects
- co-develop new skills programmes addressing industry skills gaps, with groups of peer companies and regional education and training providers, to make sure the end result is what businesses need to help them to grow
Skills needs audits usually take 30 to 60 minutes maximum and provide a comprehensive road-map of solutions to your needs that are available within your region and online.
