Dr Louise Kyne

Dr Kyne is a consultant General Paediatrician with over 33 years experience and presently works as a consultant paediatrician at Children’s Health Ireland, Temple Street.

Since 2007, Dr Kyne has received general and specialist training in paediatrics in Ireland, England and Canada and experience as a consultant of working in both a peripheral and tertiary unit in Ireland. Dr Kyne took up her current Consultant Paediatrician post in Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Temple Street in 2007, developing general paediatrics as a speciality.

As Honorary clinical professor at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), Dr Kyne is involved with teaching/education of medical students and other allied professions and paediatric trainees.

Dr Kyne’s special interests from a clinical perspective include matters relating to child maltreatment, child development/disability and clinical education
